Each of our buildings are approximately 165 years old. In the 1850's the Mill was a Carding Mill (used to prepare wool for weaving)and in the 1930's it became Colton's first fire department In the pictures below the Mill is being moved to the foundation of the old horse barn, which housed the hourses for the fire department. The Ziplid studio is being transformed into finer living space while keeping its aged integrity inside. |
